He was staff photographer with Classic & Sportscar magazine - later moving within Haymarket to become chief photographer of Autocar magazine in 1983..
In 1985 he became a freelance - working for magazines and agencies worldwide. His work has been published widely - In magazines, newspapers, advertisements, brochures and books.
In 2000 he moved again - this time to California - where he still pursues his magazine career - but has finally found time to work again as documentary / news photographer. In addition to his photographic work, he is also involved with the stock image and video library ‘Carpix’ - links to which can be found on the left of this page.
